Cima 1915 in the fore promoting an authentic green economy

Companies often promote their products by aligning them, in a true or presumed way, with the “green economy”. For Cima 1915 the “green” approach to the market is a founding motive, the cornerstone of its history and tradition.
The UN program for the environment defined the green economy as follows: “an economy that produces human well-being and social equity, while reducing environmental risks and ecological shortages.”
There are two pillars sustaining the global economy’s “green” evolution: promoting social well-being and developing technologies with minimum environmental impact, to replace obsolete ones, in particular linked to exploiting fossil fuels. But it is integrating social equity and new accessible technologies that provides the most advanced vision of sustainable growth.
Cima 1915 is an integral part of this process, first of all with development of innovative technologies. Cima products are the most valid tool for overcoming the dependence on endothermic motors. The continual increase in fields where Cima wheel drive units and electric motors are used is proof of the growing interest for the efficiency, limited cost and reliability of this solution.
But Cima has also dedicated considerable attention to reducing the impact of its manufacturing processes. Processes regulating Cima production have, in fact, always been studied to reduce the environmental impact to a minimum, at all production chain levels, involving partners and suppliers. Thanks to this decade-long effort, Cima has obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Certification.
